Obamagirl can’t vote in a primary but can show up to half heartedly do her shtick on the show?
I believe in non-traditional casting, too.
Maybe we’ll see Kenan do his take on Cindy McCain and Amy Poehler do Michelle Obama in upcoming shows!

i’m sure fred and darryl got to do those impersonations because they were the best at doing them.
Still hoping this opens the door for
non traditional casting to go both ways in the future,
and you can compare armisen’s obama to hammond’s jackson..Tallulah knows all comedians don’t look alike.
Thanks for visiting, gigglechick.

blackface is still funny. even eddie griffen did it in “deuce bigalow european gigilo.” he was still black but he claimed he was impersonating ANOTHER black person.

Wow SNL, you lost a ton of viewers in this house. We usually love your show. However, The obvious Hillary Clinton pushing and inaccurate portrayals of Obama is pathetic. First off, Hillary was VERY rude in the last debate. She kept interrupting and pissing off the moderators. I know the state of New York loves Hillary. However, going out of your way to have a very good portrayal of Hillary and a sell out, non-smiling, dumb portayal of Obama isn’t even funny.
First off, Fred does many fine impressions. This one isn’t very good because he doesn’t capture his great smile, quick wit, and smarts. He needs to do a better job on it and stop trying to make him slow and dumb. Leave the slow and dumb impressions for President Bush.
Having Hillary on the show trying to get the youth vote is pathetic. SNL, you’re pushing the wrong person. Hillary isn’t going to win. Doing poor impressions of Obama won’t help her. It just makes you unfunny and we turn you off. You’re impressions should be accurate and not bad on purpose. None of Obama’s speech or mannerisms are even close. Fred, study him more and do a better job.
SNL, when Obama is elected President of The United States, I hope you pay a brilliant man some respect and give him a funny but accurate portrayal. I’ll turn you off till then.
