I had to post Paul Begala owning that vapid moron Meghan McCain on ‘Real Time With Bill Maher’

Background:  Meghan McCain, daughter of former Presidential candidate and war hero John McCain,  has been spreading her unique take on politically punditry via The Daily Beast, The Rachel Maddow Show and other halls of punditry, information and bullshit since her father’s defeat in November.  She even took her boobs, blonde and brashness to The Colbert Report.

Impressive!

(An aside about what’s even more impressive:  Meghan McCain can  write an article bemoaning David Letterman’s joking about a Republican’s children without even mentioning her own father’s joke about Janet Reno being Chelsea Clinton’s father.)

But what has been missing from most of these appearances is the true intellectual engagement that should be a requirement for anyone who wants to be taken seriously when it comes to politics and the future of America.  Maddow, Colbert and others have treated this daughter of privilege with care — never daring to upset her delicate, misinformed view of the world with logic, wit and intelligence.
