The Sweet Life exhibit is a retrospective of Italian cinema in the 50s, as seen through the eyes of Life magazine photographers. Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Vittorio De Sica, Marcello Mastroianni are featured, living and loving their art and culture. I wanted to step into the photos. The photo above is of the letter Ingrid Bergman sent to director Roberto Rossellini that ignited their scandalous extramarital affair. Direct, simple and passionate. La Dolce Vita.
