You still got it…joking with Jon Stewart about McDonald apple pies (which is all I will be able to afford at this rate!)
I know everyone in the studio is standing because they miss him so much!
Jon is asking Bill about Bush’s cognitive dissonance on socialism for businesses versus socialism for human beings.
Bill is offering a solution to current financial issue. I can’t type fast enough to copy what he said, it will be available online tomorrow I’m sure.
Current crisis is due to(according to Bill Clinton)
Too much speculation for too long.
Okay, need to find out if Krugman and Reich (my two fave economists this week) agree.

Not making out with a friend behind your back shady, but punishable by law shady!

Anne Hathaway (Brokeback Mountain, The Devil Wears Prada, Get Smart) is dealing with this scenario right now. Last week, she dumped her boyfriend Raffaelo Follieri. This week, he was arrested for allegedly operating a fraudulent real estate scheme that he said was linked to the Vatican. A scheme that makes authorities use words such as ‘conspiracy’, ‘wire fraud’ and ‘money laundering.’ According to the NY Times:
According to the complaint, Mr. Follieri, the chairman and chief executive of the Follieri Group, told investors that as a result of his relationship with the Vatican, he was able to buy properties from the church at below-market prices and that he had right of first refusal on any properties that the church sold in the United States.
He also said that the Vatican had formally appointed him to manage its financial affairs, the complaint said. The government said that Mr. Follieri had no such connection to the church. In fact, the complaint says, Mr. Follieri had no special rights in terms of buying properties but was simply competing against other bidders.
If the accusations are true, then Anne Hathaway was duped for four years by a phenomenal con man who also duped two nobodies named Ron Burkle and Bill Clinton. Which is plausible because if two of the savviest men walking around today could be scammed, why not an actress?

Since she dated him, does that mean her reputation or character assessment skills take a hit as well?
Or was she a willing participant in Follieri’s charade as a successful Italian businessman, willingly lending her name and Hollywood aura to his business ventures, knowing that they were built on a house of sand?
It’s hard to tell since she hasn’t made any official statement about her reasons for reverting back to single status but I’m sure if she is called as a witness in his upcoming trial, the truth will be revealed for all the world to see.

Yeah.
That’s some low down ish to do to a man whose wife just lost the Democratic nomination for President. Now all he needs is for Monica Lewinsky to start yakking.
What bad ass karma!
Update - I wonder if Hillary’s supporters will decry the sexism of these two for kicking Hillary when she’s down? And trust, they are kicking Hillary. I’ve always doubted Paula Jones familiarity with the truth but not Gennifer’s when it came to her affair with Bill Clinton.
So if any HRC supporters are reading or stop by for a visit, please do tell, is what these two sisters in the struggle doing
sexism or
just women behaving independently?
