People Magazine’s Scratch ‘n Sniff Issue

People has shown why they will never go out of business because they are allowing horny, lonesome Americans the chance to scratch and sniff various actors and athletes photos in its Sexiest Man Alive 2008 issue.

What a kick ass country, right?

Here’s the smell breakdown:

Taye Diggs – Vanilla and musk (it’s supposed to also include chocolate and sandalwood but I don’t smell it.)

Chace Crawford – Kinda minty.

Christopher Meloni – A mixture of the beach and pink cotton candy.

Michael Phelps – an overpowering cologne that you can probably buy from Duane Reade

Sexiest Man Alive 2008 [People]

I think People magazine should have spent $30 million for photos of

Angelina and Brad’s new twins. Clearly, they have the money for it. I wonder why the magazine didn’t just pony up with the dough.

And watch carefully if People has to layoff staff in the upcoming months.

Rob Lowe’s former nanny speaks out….

Jessica Gibson says that Lowe repeatedly exposed himself and indulged in inappropriate touching over a time period of September 2005 to around January 2008. There is also an accusation of a butt grab without permission during December 2007.

She has hired  Gloria Allred for her lawsuit against Lowe.

Tallulah says one year of non stop unwanted touching and being flashed by Rob Lowe would have made me quit. Gibson’s reason for staying in the job:

“I love the children. I needed the job. I thought it would get better, and I was scared.”

Color me flummoxed by that answer. When a job is so intolerable, you look for another one, right? It seems odd to stay for three years under the pretense that being a nanny for Rob Lowe was the only possible gig in town.

Star reported last night that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married. The story was picked up by the world. And then People.com weighed in, as the matronly grandmother of gossip mags, with the sobering quote from the ever reliable ’source close to the couple’ that nope, no wedding.

Who is the source?  Is it Cindy Guagenti, Pitt’s publicist? Maybe Jon Voight, Angelina’s father?  Or maybe it’s The Secret Council of American Negros ‘Littlest’ Agent?

It’s not that deep who the source is but I’m curious why People thinks that would be good enough to debunk a competitor’s major scoop (if it turns out to be true.)
