Eliot Ness

Cheesy Song of the Day, July 23:

The Untouchables  Ennio Morricone

Who knows what kind of guy Eliot Ness was in real life? In Brian DePalma & David Mamet‘s world, Ness was a righteous law man who was the ONLY one capable of taking  the dangerous, sociopathic Al Capone down.  Morricone’s soundtrack is a reminder of how entertaining and satisfying a movie can be when all the elements – script, direction, cinematography, performances and music- click.
